What is Medical Negligence?

How do they arise?
Medical Negligence can be attributed to among others; doctors, nurses, consultants, surgeons, plastic surgeons, physiotherapists, opticians, and dentists and it can occur in a number of ways. It may include any of the following:
i) During surgery where there is an error
ii) A misdiagnosed patient
iii) Medical practitioner fails to act, notice an illness or medical need
iv) The medical care a person receives is below the standard expected from a medical practitioner
